Parades are great

At the Nappanee apple festival. Miles loves the marching band in the parade the best. He came home and found pot lids and marched around playing “cymbals!”

Hi Ho

The viewcount on this clip has
surely skyrocketed in the last 2 days.
It’s easy to see the appeal: short
people, easy lyrics to learn, repetitive enough to haunt dad’s dreams. Plus, it
is essentially about digging, which is of course awesome.
But no, we can’t play it on repeat
all day. In fact, twice in a row is enough. Yes, that is only my (unpopular)
opinion.
It is far and away the most
requested vid here on TRL. I am daylighting as a VJ.
Here is a sampling of the last 10
minutes worth of requests coming in.
Enjoy.
Pop! Pop! Pop! (Multi Grain Bar)
Hi ho! Hi ho! (Infinite)
Give me your phone! Tears.
Let’s play blocks. Give me every
block that you touch cause it’s mine.
Crying cause “hi ho”
Open the dryer! I want to see the
clothes spin! No? Then I will open it myself!
Crying cause leaving the laundry
room.
Flush. Flush. Flush. Again!!! No?
Crying.
Is this your coffee dad? I dragged
the ladder here so I could reach it.
Can I wipe my nose on your pants
more? Cause crying and hi ho.
Hi! Ho! Hi ho!
Juice!
Painting with juice!
Crying cause not painting with
juice.
Let me climb into your lap and
headbutt you while hi hoing and stepping on sensitive things.
Nap is Coming.
I do love my job.

Happy birthday!

Besides a bit of a cold coming on, we all had a great 2 year old birthday evening. Mom is awesome, and made Minion cupcakes, which were wildly popular. “Minions!”

Noodles!

I asked what he wanted for lunch, and he raced into the kitchen, pulled the hand towel off the stove, found a ladle in one of the drawers (by fishing around cause they are too high to see into) and says, “Noodles!”

Lol. He sees me wearing the towel over my shoulder all the time. Here he is ready to make noodles.
