A good reminder

I told Ashley on a recent trip to remind me to get gas before we got back on the road. 

An hour later, I’m pulling back onto the highway, and Miles says,
“We have enough gas dad? 

We have enough gas go really really far?”
I forgot, but he didn’t. Thanks buddy.

Ice is my life!

That’s what Miles told me today while we were playing in the snow. I was like, lol what? He grinned and told me again, pointing at the snow, “Ice is my life!”

    “Because you like it?”
     He laughed and said yes 
He let me think on that one a good five minutes before he stopped our walking through the snow to tell me, “Ice is my life, Dad! Kristoff says that in the movie!”
I guess I haven’t seen frozen enough times lol. Thanks for letting me off the hook bud. Good reference.

Lots to say

He was sitting with Mom having a timeout. I was in the kitchen, and hear,

“Daddy! Save me! Help! Save me Dad!”
Not gonna save you from your mother little man. She was trying very hard not to laugh. 
Also, at dinner:
(Me) “What are you doing? Are you going to eat those peas?”
(Miles) “Nope. Smooshin em.”
