Fishing

Miles went fishing off the back of the couch with my phone charger. He caught lots of big fish, but threw them all back.

His idea. He informed me that I was in his way and he was fishing. I moved over so as not to crowd the intrepid angler.

He has never been fishing before, but it seems like he would enjoy it very much.

Sleepy wow-butter and jelly

Every time I tried to gently take the sandwich so I  could carry him up to nap, he woke and wrestled it back. He was determined to finish it.
I finally suggested he take a drink so he had to set the sandwich down, and I hid it. Up to nap we went.

Natural habitats.

We were making zoo habitats for the animals. A lake (blanket) for the alligators, a mountain (construction hat) for the leopard, a tree for the koala.
I asked Miles where zebras like to live. He has a zebra book. He thought for a minute, and said “plains!”
“Good! Yes! So where…” I started to ask.
He grabbed this airplane and set it next to the zebra, and moved on to the next animal.
It took me longer than it should have.
Zebra. Planes. Perfect.
